This survey studied gaps that represent the difference between our intentions to make progress on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I), and the actions we are actually taking as a community to close those gaps.
As of June 2022, the US had an aggregated unemployment rate of 3.6%. On a disaggregated basis, the unemployment rate among African Americans was 6.2%. With 629 participants in our Second annual Diversity, Equity & Inclusion – Intentions vs. Actions Survey, there is a groundswell of people in organizations that want to close such gaps.
People continue to have passion and a real desire to talk about these issues and have good intentions for closing this gap and others that exist in organizations across all industries, sizes, and geographies.
