Wound Care Services Director directs the programs and staff of the wound care services department. Develops and implements wound care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Being a Wound Care Services Director monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Responsible for the education of clinical staff. Additionally, Wound Care Services Director requires a MD degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires license to practice medicine. The Wound Care Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Wound Care Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Multiple locations, Golden Triangle, Jasper, Liberty/Dayton areas. We strive to keep providers within a 30 mile radius.

    The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years nursing experience. Wound care management is a plus and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

    **Duties:**

    - Assessing and treating various types of wounds, including acute and chronic wounds

    - Developing and implementing individualized wound care treatment plans

    - Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed

    - Educating patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies

    - Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

    - Documenting all assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in patients' medical records

    **Experience:**

    The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

    - Experience in wound care management, including assessing, treating, and monitoring various types of wounds

    - Familiarity with long-term care, senior care, outpatient settings, and experience administering injections

    - Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) usage and maintenance

    - Ability to provide health coaching to patients for wound care self-management

    - RN and NP's encouraged to apply.

    Must Have:

    Current nursing license, current CPR and TB Negative and proof of auto insurance
