The team is responsible for shielding the company’s systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG’s businesses to achieve their goals. AIG’s Information Technology functions include application development and management, enterprise architecture, and technology risk and compliance.

What you need to know:

Web Administrator

Perform tasks associated with Dev Ops which includes manual or automated deployment.

Build servers for application ecosystems.

Remediated vulnerabilities that are managed by the Business Unit in a timely manner to avoid blockers for software deployments.

Assist in Troubleshooting and provide solutions for IT/Application issues.  Assist Production Support team if needed during incident bridges.

Create automated processes to avoid human error.  

Work closely with TFS Admin to build out the deployment definitions. Enhance existing build definitions when there are change to the platform/application.

Other tasks

Keep up to date on current technology, research and evaluate new tools and techniques.

Risk identification – identify and provide options for risk identified. Focus on conflicts between software releases and infrastructure changes. Review the weekly changes with the Production Support team to validate impact.

Create and Maintain runbooks for deployments.  

Experience: 4 years of relevant work experience in Application Deploy and Release.

Education – 2 year degree in CIS/computer Science  or equivalent combination of four years of IT experience.

Software Knowledge:

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems
• Advanced working knowledge of IIS and .net middleware components
• General programming experience as it relates to scripting
• Basic knowledge of SQL server
• 
  

  Effective communication skills and being able to convey information and resolving user issues through clear, concise, and empathetic interactions

  Task management and prioritization skills, ensuring efficient handling of user inquiries and concerns

  Travel Guard product knowledge is a plus.
