Wafer Fabrication Operator jobs in New Mexico

Now hiring a Production Associate we can train to clean ceramic wafers.  Previous experience is not required. If you’ve washed dishes, you can do this job! We are looking for individuals with a great work ethic who are eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, environment.  

• Full time
• 2 weeks Train $15/hour Day shift: M-F 6:00a-2:30p
• After training go to Night shift $15.00/hour 9% differential for nights: Th, F, Sa, e/o W, 630p – 630a

Production Associate Duties Include:

• Manually cleans surface of ceramic wafers after slicing or polishing
• Reviews work orders to determine processing steps.
• Prepares ceramic parts for machine operators.
• Places containers of ceramic wafers into drum of cleaning machine or into heated sinks of solutions to remove dust, oil, wax, slurry, or debris from surface of wafers.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.

Requirements:

• Must have ability to train 2-4 weeks 1st shift: M-F, 630a-3p and then move to 12-hour Night shift once certified, Th, F, Sa, e/o W 630p-630a.
• Must be able to read and follow written specifications and procedures.
• Operate various equipment simultaneously.
• Excellent hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be computer literate, detail oriented, a self-starter, and reliable.
• Requires steel toe shoes.
