Volunteer Services Director jobs in Colorado
Volunteer Services Director manages a volunteer program to attract, inspire, train, and deploy volunteers. Oversees the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of volunteer workers. Being a Volunteer Services Director provides training resources and guidance to a team of supervisors to assist with educating volunteers. Manages the scheduling of volunteer workers to ensure adequate assistance for projects or objectives. Additionally, Volunteer Services Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Volunteer Services Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Volunteer Services Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Free training will be out of our Boulder office. We have Toyota Prius', Subaru's, an MV1 or you can drive your own vehicle (upon approval)
As a Via Vital Volunteer Driver you will safely operate a Prius, an MV-1 or drive your own vehicle and transport passengers, while adhering to Via's Standard Operating Procedures.
In this role you will work closely with dispatch on scheduling routes where you will be responsible for communicating and assisting passengers with disabilities and special needs.
Qualifications for Via Vital Volunteer Driver :
- At least 21 years of age
- Possess a valid Driver's License in good standing
- May be subject to non-DOT drug testing policy
