Voice Communications Manager is responsible for managing the policies and procedures of voice communications. Ensures uninterrupted access to all voice telecommunication features including voicemail, ACD or PBX systems. Being a Voice Communications Manager oversees the design and implementation of voice telecommunications networks. Selects vendors and negotiates contracts. Additionally, Voice Communications Manager reviews reports on system specifications in support of system upgrades and makes final decision regarding updates. Involved in long-range or strategic voice communications plans. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Voice Communications Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Voice Communications Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What You'll Do

    You'll be the point-person for multi-dwelling unit (MDU) and single-family unit (SFU) owners, managers, developers and residents within their communities, providing them with solutions, value and peace of mind. As a trusted adviser, you'll help them reach their business goals, optimize their occupancy and future-proof their properties. Here's a peek at your day:

    • You'll partner directly with MDU property managers and leasing staff to drive product penetration and revenue growth.
    • You'll manage the MDU accounts once the agreement has been signed, focusing on successful implementation.
    • You'll be responsible for successfully managing a portfolio of properties in an assigned territory.
    • You'll increase subscriber growth.
    • You'll partner with property management to launch properties, train staff and coordinate on-site marketing and promotion efforts.
    • You'll make plans to address competitor activity in a very fluid, competitive market.
    • You'll ensure compliance to all residential agreements and contracts.
    • You'll serve as a community ambassador of Cox Communications and as a recognized subject matter expert on MDU matters, establishing a presence in the community through participation and leadership for relevant boards, groups and committees.

    Who You Are

    You're an ethical salesperson, and you'll respect the trust our clients place in you. There are a lot of balls in the air for every deal, and you'll masterfully juggle them all the way to the dotted line. You'll need to have a few credentials as well, including the following:

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years of experience or 6 years of experience in a related field with no degree
    • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
    • The ability to travel within the region and be in the field four days a week in your assigned territory.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Deep knowledge of CRM and database tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS and SAS.
    • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills.
    • Skills for data analysis and interpretation.
    • A strong understanding of business acumen.
    • A strong sales and negotiation/strategic prudence.

    USD 44,600.00 - 66,800.00 per year

    Compensation:

    Compensation includes a base salary of $44,600.00 - $66,800.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $18,000.00.

    The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
