Voice Communications Manager is responsible for managing the policies and procedures of voice communications. Ensures uninterrupted access to all voice telecommunication features including voicemail, ACD or PBX systems. Being a Voice Communications Manager oversees the design and implementation of voice telecommunications networks. Selects vendors and negotiates contracts. Additionally, Voice Communications Manager reviews reports on system specifications in support of system upgrades and makes final decision regarding updates. Involved in long-range or strategic voice communications plans. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Voice Communications Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Voice Communications Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Voice Experience team is responsible for the overall quality of the program, ensuring that we are able to deliver a best-in-class experience for our Merchant partners. Our team designs, manages, and operates DoorDash's large and growing global network of support centers, with the ultimate goal of delivering an outstanding customer experience as reliably as possible.

    About The Role

    We’re hiring a Manager, Voice Experience, who will work closely with other Voice Experience team members as well as cross-functional partners to deliver quality for Merchant pilot launches as well as maintaining quality for the existing book of business. The Manager will be responsible for a book of business of Merchant partners, define what a quality experience is for those Merchants including setting and monitoring metrics, work with cross-functional teams to improve training and quality assurance, and build out Tx tools and product features to streamline Tx processes. The Manager will have a high degree of visibility across the org by owning quality for the program which will drive volume growth and retain existing volume.

    This role will report into a Senior Manager on our Voice Experience team in our Customer Experience & Integrity organization.

    Compensation

    The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

    Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

    Colorado Pay Range:

    $118,800—$178,200 USD

    California Pay Range:

    $125,400—$198,000 USD

    New York Pay Range:

    $132,000—$198,000 USD

    Washington Pay Range:

    $125,400—$188,200 USD
