We are seeking an Audio Visual Technician to join our team in Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment for various events and meetings.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Set up and install audio and visual equipment such as microphones, speakers, projectors, video monitors, and recording equipment.
2. Operate sound boards, video cameras, projectors, and other audio and visual equipment during events.
3. Test and troubleshoot audio and visual systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
4. Provide technical support and assistance during events, including adjusting sound levels and lighting as needed.
5. Maintain and clean audio and visual equipment to ensure proper functionality.
6. Keep inventory of audio and visual equipment and request repairs or replacements when necessary.
**Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in audio visual technology is a plus.
2. Proven experience working with audio and visual equipment in a professional setting.
3. Strong knowledge of audio visual systems, equipment, and best practices.
