Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Video Editor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Position Summary
Foundation Software, a rapidly growing, national provider of construction software and services, seeks a highly skilled, experienced Video Editor to join our growing marketing team.
In this role, the candidate will be integral to the creative process, from initial concept to final delivery. This position requires a combination of technical proficiency, creativity, and collaborative skills including extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects. You will work closely with Project Managers, the creative team, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of video projects.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities- Collaborate with Project Managers to understand the scope and objectives of each project.
- Develop storyboards that outline the narrative and visual flow of video projects.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop and acquire necessary assets, including graphics, video footage, and other media.
- Edit videos according to project specifications using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, ensuring a high standard of quality and creativity.
- Incorporate 2D animation elements into video projects as required.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Operate camera equipment and assist in shooting footage if needed.
- Regularly present edited drafts to the management and make revisions based on feedback.
- Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio highlighting a range of projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Demonstrated ability to create effective storyboards.
- Experience working in a team environment, particularly with creative teams and Project Managers.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of managing several projects at once.
- Work on B2B and SaaS projects or products is a plus.
- Knowledge of camera and audio equipment operation is a plus.
