    Our ideal Vice President of Business Development candidate will have a significant impact on TAK’s success through the identification and pursuit of new opportunities that will expand our customer base, increase revenues, and grow profitability.     The Role

    • Develop and, taking a hands-on approach, implement comprehensive sales and new market development strategies in alignment with TAK’s business goals and objectives.
    • Leverage your network and expertise to identify new business opportunities, analyze market trends/competitors, and establish strategic partnerships with industry players.
    • Attend industry networking and business generation events as TAK’s representative.
    • Oversee all aspects of the sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure, always ensuring a seamless customer experience.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as needed.
    • Collaborate internally to ensure alignment and the maximization of cross-functional effectiveness.
    • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales metrics, reporting progress and performance regularly to executive leadership.

    Requirements

    • 10 years of telecommunications industry experience in sales, market development, and account management.
    • Proven history of successful development/implementation of sales strategies and the consistent achievement of revenue growth targets.
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others in the achievement of tangible results.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build/maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Analytical mindset – ability to evaluate data, identify trends and patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Initiative-taking, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and very growing industry.
    • Strong organizational skills – ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Willingness and ability for extensive travel as required.
