    The Vice President, Sales of Cordea Consulting, LLC will have strategic and operational responsibility for the following areas:

    • Sales and Business Development for accounts nationwide
    • Client Management, Relationships and Satisfaction
    • The Executive VP, Sales reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    PLANNING

    • Develop the plan to drive sales nationwide using your network/connections
    • Proactively stay current on your accounts (market issues, vendor implementations, personnel changes, and openings, etc.)
    • Assist in developing consulting practice programs and services
    • Assist in developing consultant management, growth and retention programs
    • Assist in developing the organization’s strategic plan that promotes revenue, profitability, and growth.

    SALES/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    • Execute personal sales and business development plans.
    • Identify, cultivate, develop proposals and close business on small to large projects
    • Lead and manage the sales efforts for opportunities with clients and new prospects
    • Collaborate with Delivery Executives to support new sales activities for existing clients and new prospects.
    • Promote the organization and services through interactions with potential and current clients.
    • Represent the organization at industry specific meetings.
    • Build and expand a business network with potential buying and influencing contacts (e.g., using personal contacts, email, phone calls, social networking, and conferences).
    • Use Salesforce to document and keep current sales and business development activities (e.g., pipeline of opportunities)
    • Prepare activity reports as requested to determine progress and status in attaining stated sales objectives/targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
    • Participate in group and one on one meetings with the VP, Sales, and Marketing to discuss sales activities, client engagements, opportunities, client updates, market demand, etc.
    • Assist in executing the organization’s strategic plan that promotes revenue, profitability, and growth.
    • Work with all areas and members of Cordea Consulting (sales, delivery, operations, recruiting, marketing, delivery consultants, administration, accounting, etc.) to promote and support the organization, clients and consultants.
    • Provide management and quality assurance with assigned clients and engagements.
    • Assist with managing accounts receivable (A/R) for clients
    • Promote a culture that reflects the organization’s values, encourages good performance, and rewards productivity
    • Follow organizational operational procedures, policies, and standards.
    • Present updates and reports to the CEO as requested.


    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    • Successful at HIT consultative selling (i.e., possess the natural ability to ask probing questions to position our services)
    • Established C-level and IT Management relationships within the EHR, ERP, Imaging, Data, Digital, and Payer space
    • Experience with consultative selling and project-based work
    • Strong demonstrable sales/business development experience or aptitude, excited to engage prospects and customers (i.e., eager to call, text, get in front of customers, and close deals)
    • Ability to communicate and interact with clients at all levels and to work effectively with all levels of the organization
    • Broad and current healthcare industry knowledge
    • Ability to work in a team environment, known as a "team player"
    • Possess a level of formal and professional education commensurate with the demands of the position
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel.
    • Execution of the above responsibilities will advance the organization's mission and objectives and promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization
