Veterinary Technician jobs in Montana

All West Veterinary Hospital is searching for a team player to join our mixed animal hospital as a Veterinary Technician.

We're looking for animal lovers who are observant, self-motivated, and communicative. This is a great opportunity for those who are confident around all types of animals and have a basic understanding of animal care. Prior experience in veterinary medicine or a closely related animal field is a plus, but not required.

This is a full-time role comprised of four weekday shifts (8am-5:30pm).

The team at All West is cross-trained and share responsibilities throughout the hospital. Primary responsibilities as a Veterinary Technician include:

• Anesthetic induction
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Surgical preparation and assistance
• Dental prophy
• Digital radiology
• Patient handling and restraint
• Blood draws
• IV catheter placement
• Pharmacy duties
• Lab work
• Drug calculations
• Outpatient procedures
• Microscopic evaluation
• Administer vaccines, injections, and medications
• Client communication and education

Full-time benefits and compensation:

• Pay: $17 - $25/hour (based on experience and credentials)
• Bonus package: $500-$2,000 (3 years of current, consecutive experience or credentials)

About All West Veterinary Hospital:

We are a full-service hospital providing veterinary care to dogs, cats, horses, mules, birds, pocket pets, reptiles, and rodents—“all creatures great and small.” We offer everything from wellness exams and preventive care to advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. For our small animal patients, we have 7 exam rooms, a large treatment and care area, and full ability for in house diagnostics, surgery, dentistry and more. Our equine patients are equally as important, with exam areas, a surgery suite, and diagnostic equipment (including an equine ultrasound machine). We have a large facility, a talented team of doctors, multiple credentialed technicians, and a dedicated support staff.
