Job Specifications-Room Attendant
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task and take direction
- Required to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
Physical Demands
Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. repeatedly.
Frequently walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, carrying and climbing
Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions-Supervisor
- Effectively communicates with guests, team members and other departments.
- Oversee the daily operations of housekeeping & laundry so all rooms are cleaned and inspected prior to guest check-in.
- Plan, assign and coordinate room boards and activities for room attendants.
- Coordinate daily housekeeping staffing needs based on business volume and workload.
- Lead pre-shift team member meetings.
- Manage Lost-and-Found items, inquiries, returns and shipping & billing process.
- Maintain inventories of amenities, cleaning supplies & linen stock to ensure adequate stock quantities and reorders are placed in a timely manner.
- Establish, implement and improve best practices, operating procedures and standards.
- Monitor and motivate the housekeeping & laundry team to ensure high levels of productivity.
- Assists with team member recruitment, hiring, and training qualified housekeeping team members.
- Recommend counseling and potential disciplinary action for housekeeping team members.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
