Treasury Manager manages all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Monitors cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Manager allocates cash balances, maintains investment records, and prepares expense and earnings forecasts. Develops and implements department policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, Treasury Manager ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Treasury Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Treasury Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     About the position: 

    Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Business degree with 7 years IT experience, Treasury support experience with Wallstreet Suite, FENICS, and IntelliMatch a plus.
    • Must have 4 years of Software Development, Business Analysis, or System Architect experience, along with experience partnering with technology and business resources on implementing projects.
    • Must speak and write English fluently.
    • Must be a problem solver with a can-do attitude; possess good leadership skills in guiding and directing teams during system production issues and project implementations.
    • Prior expertise in managing development and 24x7 production support in an onshore/offshore model.
    • Prior experience in managing a managed service provider.
    • Good understanding of networking and communication protocols.
    • Bank account and Treasury systems experience, including SWIFT & payment formatting.
    • FX experience.
    • Risk Management experience. 
    • Cash Management systems experience.

     

    Responsibilities

    • IT Management oversight, leadership, and ownership for a 24x7 production Treasury systems environment, owning operational/run activities, level 3 support, and troubleshooting efforts.
    • Build, support and maintain various system and data integration points, data transformation processes, banking partner connections/maintenance, and security/compliance provisioning and administration.
    • Main point of contact globally for all major Treasury IT incidents, ensuring that all required parties are included in the support and resolution of incident while driving the efforts to expedite resolution.
    • Responsible for driving the Treasury support teams to successfully design, develop, and release enhancements, bug fixes, and other engineering related requirements on time and within budget.
    • Ensure that application maintenance and resolution of production issues are resolved by the proper support team as per defined SLAs.
    • Ensure continuous improvements in the production environment to reduce and prevent defects.
    • Partner with Dev and QA testing teams to ensure high-quality maintenance and enhancement deliverables.
    • Provide recommendations for improvements for applications software, system integration, and architecture to meet dynamic business needs.
    • Manage operational change management specific to the Treasury systems: review change requests, facilitate change meetings, manage change approvals, and perform change management reporting.
    • Provide demand management and prioritization of work in alignment with business needs and priorities, ensuring security, governance, and other technology best practices are followed.
    • Define and revise, as needed, metric/performance reporting; track production support performance and ensure service levels meet the needs of the business.
    • Driving requirements gathering, architecture, design and execution roadmap of large cross functional programs (ie: Treasury Management Systems).
    • Assist in setting the technical strategy for the system portfolio.

     

    Compensation: $96,000 - $154,000.

    The base salary range represents the low and high-end of the Convera salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Convera's total compensation package for employees.
