Position Description

The primary responsibility of the Treasury Analyst is processing outgoing ACH and wire disbursements. The Treasury Analyst collaborates with other members of the accounting team to work toward operational goals while maintaining quality and efficiencies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify wire and ACH bank details for accuracy.
• Initiate domestic, international and Canadian wires, ACH, and wires with foreign exchanges for entire company and subsidiaries.
• Communicate with bank for any issues with daily transactions on behalf of the company.
• Manage documentation and post payments to the accounting system.
• Administration of company’s internet banking applications. Tasks include setting up new company team members on internet banking, removing team members from internet banking, resetting passwords for team members, etc.
• Administration of the company’s credit card program. Tasks include setting up new credit cards for approved members, canceling credit cards for members, resetting passwords, etc.
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting team.
• Verify and process details of business transactions and post to general ledger, spreadsheets and databases as needed.
• Work with accounting management on daily cash forecasting reporting.
• Review and reconcile accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
• Perform month end procedures.
• Work with merchants to ensure accuracy and collectability of settlement invoice.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects, system implementation, process improvements and reporting, and additional duties as directed.

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge, Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting.
• 2 years of corporate treasury experience related to banking and cash management strongly desired.
• Self-starter, motivated by results, problem solver, team player.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments with deadlines.
• Knowledge of computer systems and solid PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient and hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the company, and with vendors and customers.
• Ability to uphold and maintain discretion and care regarding confidential and sensitive personnel and company information.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptive to successfully achieve the responsibility of the position.
