Travel Coordinator coordinates travel arrangements. Schedules hotel, flight, and car rentals and prepares itineraries. Being a Travel Coordinator answers questions about travel policies and process. Assists with visa processing and other travel related documentation. Additionally, Travel Coordinator ensures that travel needs are met within the constraints of the company travel budget. May coordinate with outside travel agencies. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Travel Coordinator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. - Prepare, plan, execute your travel sales (including by not limited to airline, car rental, cruises, hotels, etc.)
- Stay informed with the latest travel & leisure deals, destination updates, restrictions, and supplier/vendor training
- Stay plugged into our weekly training opportunities so you are maximizing top sales and potential through all booking requests
- Facilitate payment plans to accommodate your clients’ vacation package needs
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Maintain relationships with travel partners and vendors
- Work well in a group/team setting
- Complete required certifications within a timely manner
- Complete ongoing training with our company and travel partners
