    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    As a Branch Manager, you will have an overall responsibility for safety, field operations, and office administration/ personnel at your assigned branch. You’ll be responsible for staff and you’ll work closely with other senior managers and department managers to ensure a safe work environment, drive profitability and improve on operational efficiencies for the area in which responsibility is placed.

    Responsibilities

    HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE: 

    • Responsible for the overall performance of the assigned group of branch offices in the Region 
    • Responsible for overseeing Area Branch Managers for each branch and ensuring proper leadership at the branch level 
    • Overall responsibility for all assigned branches’ Profit & Loss statements 
    • Implement strategic operational efficiencies and a proactive approach to budgeting 
    • Perform analyses of the expenditures in relation to the budgeted figures for the overall all region and each assigned branches’ offices 
    • Develop, coordinate, and implement marketing plans designed to maintain and increase existing business and capture new opportunities  
    • Collaborate with Branch Managers in setting sales/service goals as well as recommending and implementing initiatives to increase and improve the branch sales/service record 
    • Drive profitability through strategic methods such as cost-cuttingmanagement, developing efficiencies, and other methods as approved by management 
    •  Regular reporting to Executives on regional performance metrics 
    • Ensure streamlined and efficient dispatching and scheduling procedures at each regional branchWork with centralized dispatch on scheduling of all field operations 
    • Analyze, recommended, and implement new and existing administrative and/or operational procedures ensuring administrative departmental requirements are met 
    • Work with Project Management Department and regional offices to streamline estimating, planning, and overall project management procedures 
    • Responsible for ensuring branch managers are keeping inventory controls in place and reporting (monthly at a minimum).   
    • Propose solutions for enhanced inventory methods and if necessary, staffing for better overall inventory controls 
    • Implement and maintain quality controls for excellent customer service 
    • Responsible for ensuring a professional, stimulating, and supportive work environment at each regional office 
    • Oversee all aspects of recruitment, training, cross-training, and development of all staff in partnership with the People Culture team 
    • Responsible for ensuring employee performance reviews are being conducted in a timely manner providing recommendations for salary and development initiatives 
    • Training and development of managerial staff as well as accountability for the performance of managers 
    • Responsible for maintenance, security, and safety at each regional branchand supporting the branches with their specific needs 
    • Ensure regional branch compliance with OSHA standards 
    • Work with Branch Managers to enhance the facility’s image, appearance, and organization 
    • Responsible for all aspects of fleet management, maintenance, and reporting as directed by the corporate office and the Fleet Manager  
    • Work with Fleet Manager to oversee the assigned branches’ fleet including preventative maintenance, vehicle deployment or redeployment, etc. 
    • Responsible for all areas of safety including operations being performed in the field.   
    • Work with Branch Managers to drive safety initiatives including  
    • Ensure proper safety training of all staff and other initiatives as directed by senior management to maintain an excellent safety record 
    • Analyze, recommend, and implement new and current work-related injury procedures ensuring all regional staff are properly trained and that vendors and are providing efficient and effective service 
    • Maintain awareness of all work-related injuries with follow up analysis and recommendations to prevent future incidences 
    • Use of and analysis of PowerBI dashboard and other reports to manage key performance metrics including company financials

    • At least 5-7 years of business management experience or equivalent education 
    • High School Diploma (or equivalent) 
    • Ability to effectively lead, train, develop and manage in a professional and effective manner

    • High level knowledge of MUTCD guidelines and regulations 
    • Budget Analysis 
    • Profit and Loss Analysis

    Qualifications

    PAY:

    The salary range for candidates who will work in Detriot, MI is $130,000.00 to $180,000.00. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type, and years of experience within the industry, education, etc. Traffic Management, Inc. is a multi-state employer and this Salary range may not reflect positions in other states.
