**Project Management Specialist - Automotive Manufacturing**
Overview
Join our manufacturing team in Charleston as a Project Management Specialist. As a US Citizen or Green Card holder local to Charleston, you will lead the implementation of new plants and suppliers in the supply chain management. Additionally, you will oversee series operations for existing plants and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for the organizational unit
- Manage targets, key performance indicators, and financial budgets
- Lead cross-plant and cross-supplier projects
- Act as the main contact for suppliers and internal service providers
- Oversee the professional implementation of processes in the WMS System
- Analyze and address findings to ensure smooth operations
- Work closely with international production locations to define and monitor targets
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically with cross-functional and international projects
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent knowledge of Daimler's internal production processes
- Strong teamwork and flexibility
- Business-oriented mindset with strategic thinking ability
- Leadership experience and willingness to travel, especially to Mexico
- Experience in general management
- International work experience or working within an international team
