Network Engineer:

We are hiring a Network Engineer to design, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot our large and continuously growing wired and wireless network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a great attitude and good written and verbal communication skills as you will be interacting with customers and coworkers daily. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in computer networking with working understanding of the following network concepts: OSPF, VLANs, VOIP, POE, RSTP, BGP, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network equipment and respond to alerts in a timely fashion.

- Manage data center operations

- Server maintenance (Software Updates, Component Replacements)
- Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis

- Configure network equipment

- Provide direction and support to field technicians
- Provide technical support by responding to customer trouble tickets
- Research and test new networking equipment for integration into the MassiveMesh Network
- Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
- Perform design and capacity planning for network infrastructure

Required Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people with varying technical knowledge
- Ability to perform hands-on tasks and lift 50lbs.
- Excellent decision making, problem solving and analytic skills

-A good attitude to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

-3 years of experience in the Information Technology field

-Industry standard Network certification (Cisco, CompTIA, etc.)
