Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will work for our Novotics and SICO Systems Control divisions of Daburn. Novotics and SICO provide control and automation solutions for various equipment and plant processes.

We are looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer with practical experience in the industrial controls field and experience in PLC and HMI programming.

Requirements/Experience:

Minimum 2 Years Experience In Industrial Controls And Automation

Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC and HMI programming

Analog controls and PID Loops (instrumentation)

Motor controls (motor starters and VFDs)

Able to work independently or as a team member

Primary Responsibilities:

Design control systems per customer specifications

PLC and HMI programming

Test & troubleshoot control systems

Write functional specifications and user manuals

Prepare purchase orders for project-related parts and equipment

Assist sales in technical issues and quotations

Field start-up and customer assistance

Able to travel (less than 10% per year)

Desirable experience:

AutoCAD

National Electric Code (NEC)

UL508A/CSA standards

Knowledge of Ethernet networks
