Position Summary:
Nelson Pipeline is seeking a highly motivated Top Man who will be responsible for leading crew with installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utilities. Ensuring that work is completed safely, and efficiently and according to project needs.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain equipment on a daily basis to ensure safe and efficient use
- Complete checks on grade and alignment
- Directs and signals heavy equipment operators
- Inspection of materials and piping
- Must know how to cut pipe with demo saw
- Assisting concrete work related to underground pipes
- Conducts inspections and quality check throughout the project
- Communicates effectively with crew members, and managers
- Adheres to all safety rules
- Maintaining the work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly manner on a continuous basis
- Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Experience with a variety of underground utility including water, sewer, and storm
- Understand and can follow underground utility techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to perform physical demanding tasks
- Ability to follow instruction and be a reliable employee with strong attendance
- Communicate effectively with team and manager
