As the Vice President of Patient Care at our Temple location, you will oversee nursing practice and clinical services at Baylor Scott and White Health. In this role, you will lead clinical operations, establish strategic goals, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care delivery. Specifically, you will manage the Acute Care and Progressive Care Units at our Magnet-designated Level I Academic Trauma Center: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Temple.
Main Responsibilities- Establish and communicate clinical strategic goals.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and nursing quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure high-quality patient care delivery in a cost-effective manner.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance patient outcomes and service excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field required; Master's strongly preferred.
- 5 years of nursing experience in an acute care environment, particularly in an academic trauma center.
- 1 years of leadership experience.
- Registered Nurse license required.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
