The Executive Director will lead our newly established organization's efforts to support and empower underrepresented small business owners in Jackson, MS. Magnolia CDC is an emerging CDFI and a subsidiary of Magnolia Federal Credit Union. As the organization's first Executive Director, you will be responsible for building the foundation and driving the growth of our programs and impact. Key responsibilities include strategic oversight of our small business lending technical assistance programs, fundraising initiatives, and organizational growth and strategy, as well as developing and overseeing a small business loan portfolio. Jackson's underrepresented business owners face unique challenges, including limited access to capital, resources, and networks, as well as systemic barriers that hinder their growth and success. The Executive Director will work to address these challenges and create equitable opportunities for all entrepreneurs in the community.
