    The Allocations Analyst I will appropriately allocate merchandise to existing Stores, new Stores, and the Internet Store. The teammate in this role will focus on allocation of merchandise within one category, brand, or department while operating under the direction of the Allocations Lead.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the daily processing of freight and replenishment.
      • Review each piece of merchandise to ensure that the item meets company and regulatory labeling standards. 
      • Carefully process and review the pack slip for any discrepancies between the product and what was entered in the system.    
      • Ability to communicate job related knowledge with multiple Departments.
      • Review new merchandise with Buyers, ensuring merchandise has arrived as expected. 
      • Review selling information with Leadership team to make recommendations to the Buyers on how to allocate merchandise.
        • Responsible for setting up Store 1, Replenishment holdings, and Store lists ahead of freight arriving and reviewing with Leadership team and Buyers to ensure accuracy.
      • Responsible for daily review of replenishment to Stores for assigned categories.
        • Review Age of product held in 998 with Leadership team. 
        • Make sure adequate replenishment is being sent to Stores daily.
        • Review Stores and find opportunities to fulfill inventory needs.
        • Make adjustments to online holds based on online selling performance.
    • Responsible for maintaining all new, existing, and Internet Store’s inventory levels.
      • Maintain proper inventory levels for assigned area utilizing multiple channels of distribution.
      • Create Store distribution lists by analyzing current selling trends, sales history, and input from the Buying Team.
      • Review category with Leadership team weekly to help ensure Stores are receiving and maintaining adequate inventory levels to sustain sales volume and provide growth opportunities.
      • Analyze online selling trends compared to Regular stores to ensure adequate initial inventory holds for Store replenishment and online.
      • Coordinate the transfer of merchandise between existing Stores.
      • Review Store product requests with Leadership team to identify the best method to fulfill the request. Communicate with Stores regarding eligibility status.
      • Review Buyers Report with Leadership team to identify specific styles that Regular Stores are outperforming online selling and complete inventory transfers appropriately. 
    • Understand the product flow within assigned category.
      • Ability to review Cancel dates, Product Status Sheet, and weekly receipts.
    • Gain knowledge in using Allocations Applications and how to utilize them to ensure effective and efficient job performance.
      • Excel Power Pivots, Product Status Sheet, AS400, RAPTOR, CONDOR, Advanced Product Search, Buyers Report, Product Requests, Inventory Manager, and Performance Tracker.
    • Review routine job decisions with direction from Leadership team.
      • Demonstrate the ability to identify problems or errors and communicates those to Leadership team to seek best possible outcome.
    • Work within a team and across multiple categories to ensure a consistent and predictable outcome.
    • Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
    • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
