Develops and incorporates solid operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into all manufacturing processes. Being a Top Manufacturing Executive adopts process designs, technologies, and methods that maximize operational efficiency. Directs and participates in workforce or labor relations negotiations and planning activities. Additionally, Top Manufacturing Executive plans and forecasts resources for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce to ensure sufficient manufacturing capacity to support business goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to chief operating officer (coo) or top management. The Top Manufacturing Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Qualifications:
- Associates Degree
- Minimum of 3 plus years’ experience in the food manufacturing industry
- Manages workflow and oversees the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for operations to maximize Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Deep knowledge of production management
- OSHA regulations
- Food Manufacturing Industry Experience
- GMP
- Food Safety
- Budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, cost controls, and human resource
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
