- STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
- Works under the supervision of the registered Nurse/Director of Nursing.
Functions according to State Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Policies & Procedure and the Mission and Philosophy of the Facility.*- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
- Gather preliminary patient information
- Record vital signs
- Perform injections
- Care for and dress wounds
- Provide help for daily care
- Monitor a variety of health care equipment
- Monitor medication charts ensuring patients get the correct dosage
- Feed incapacitated patients that aren’t able to feed themselves
- Maintain and monitor IVs
- Prep the patient for procedures
- Inform patients of how to take care of themselves after the hospital stay
- Qualifications*
- Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Licensure:
- Licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state of ND or in a compact state.
- Experience:
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required.
- Pay Range* $18.86 - $25.22 /hour
