Monitors the research, analysis, and evaluation of investment vehicles and makes decisions and selections in alignment with the organization's goals and risk tolerance. Being an Top Investment Executive oversees an organization's investment activity to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements. Develops, articulates, and communicates the overall investment strategy, vision, and objectives of the organization to achieve long-term growth and profitability. Additionally, Top Investment Executive provides strategic leadership, direction, and guidance to align investment strategies with business goals and market outlook. Oversees and manages the investment portfolio, asset allocation, and diversification strategies to optimize returns, manage risks, and achieve investment objectives. Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts investment strategies and asset mix to respond to market conditions, economic trends, and investment opportunities. Routinely reviews investment operation policies and procedures and recommends changes to increase efficiency or compliance. May require a master's degree. We are searching for a Client Development Executive – Investment Funds Lead to work closely with our nationally ranked U.S. Investment Funds Partners to drive DLA Piper’s market-facing sales initiatives. You will assist in identifying new opportunities and will play a strategic role in expanding key client relationships. You will work in close collaboration with the firm’s partners, business development, and marketing professionals, you will own core elements of the strategic plan for this important and rapidly growing practice. Metrics for success include both quantitative data and qualitative feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
Your primary focus will be to prioritize and drive new strategic clients and relationships, raise the firm’s profile within the investment funds and institutional limited partner ecosystem, and serve as a trusted advisor to DLA Piper attorneys and clients by building and leveraging your industry knowledge and relationships. You will join an elite team of former company and investment fund executives who are in similar roles and focused on developing other strategic sectors for the Firm.

The expected annual pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City is $189,950 - $289,695 per year. If hired to work in Palo Alto the expected annual pay range is $198,209 - $302,291 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications.
