GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB :
This position contributes to Starbucks success by providing legendary customer service to all customers. This job creates the Starbucks Experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Education and / or Experience : Prefer high school graduate or equivalent and / or at least one year experience in food service or customer service field.
Must be have strong interpersonal skills and be able to engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
Scheduling : Must be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and / or holidays.
Reasoning Ability : Must have the ability to learn quickly.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Visual Acuity : Must be able to see to read recipes, run the cash registers and count money.
Hearing Acuity : Must be able to hear to take orders from the customers
Manual Dexterity- Must be able to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.
Physical Dexterity- Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Works in a well lighted, well-vented, well heated and air conditioned environment. May be subject to noise. May be exposed to heat, cold or wet environments.
May be required to receive groceries and lift various items to place on proper shelving.
