Mark Miller Toyota sells hundreds of vehicles each month and a large number of those vehicles are financed through an outside lending institution. The job of the Funding Clerk is to make sure that those contracts are funded (paid to the dealership) in a timely manner.
The Funding Clerk is responsible for the submission of customer contracts to funding institutions and to assist in the management of the followup with those institutions to ensure timely funding. The Funding Clerk is responsible to monitor funding status and work with Finance personnel to resolve any funding delays. Additionally, the Funding Clerk is responsible to continually update the internal message system with notes regarding funding status and other pertinent details.
This position requires frequent contact with the finance managers and good working relationships with the finance team. This position requires multiple daily trips to the building next door and delivery of paperwork from one building to the other.
20-25 hours per week during office hours (8 - 5). The times can be flexible, but 5 days per week is required.
