Now Hiring – Facilities Manager

Dashir is looking to hire a facilities manager to oversee the facilities at the Sleepy Eye Public Schools. The ideal candidate will have good leadership and communication skills, be well-organized and have a good understanding of facility maintenance. The goal is to ensure our customers facilities are well maintained and safe for students, staff, and visitors to learn, work and enjoy.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with facilities department staff, district staff, and administration
• Ensure that the building is clean and safe for students, staff, and visitors
• Manage daily maintenance requests
• Manage the preventive maintenance program
• Manage the upkeep of equipment to meet health and safety standards
• Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
• Supervise all facilities staff and external contractors
• Keep complete and organized records

Skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational and leadership skills
• Good analytical/critical thinking
• Maintenance experience
• Boilers license or the ability to attain one within 90 days of hire.
