Position: Division Controller

Location: Bothell, Washington

Compensation: Annual base salary: $120,000 - $130,000 (DOE), plus bonuses.

About the Role: Our client is seeking an accomplished Division Controller to manage all financial aspects of their division, including historical reporting, budget forecasting, and financial projections. The ideal candidate will be the financial steward of the division, ensuring adherence to fiduciary responsibilities, enhancing business processes, and providing critical financial insights to the management team. This role involves close collaboration with senior management to ensure compliance with company policies and acts as the key liaison between the division and corporate/regional offices on accounting and finance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce operating procedures and company policies with fiduciary responsibility.
• Manage all banking activities in alignment with corporate policies and procedures.
• Report financial results in accordance with GAAP and the company’s financial policies.
• Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring all budgets reflect contractual or estimated liabilities.
• Prepare and ensure the accuracy of financial projections required by corporate management.
• Manage the month-end close process, coordinating with Corporate Accounting.
• Implement pricing strategies as agreed upon by management.
• Fully utilize the computerized accounting system within the division.
• Participate in both financial and operational aspects of the business, including field visits.
• Conduct business professionally and ethically to enhance customer satisfaction and company profitability.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accouting or Finance
• Six to eight years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Ability to accurately process and record large volumes of data.
• Experience with JD Edwards software is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email applications.
