    Description:
    Contract, DEI Specialist role in the Providence RI area. On site hybrid 3 days a week.

    The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist supporting diversity and inclusion strategy while providing day-to-day project management and support for BRG's (business resource groups)

    Will work closely with the Manager who has 3 other team members who have performed the role and are there for guidance and assistance.

    The team will work with approximately 20-25 internal BRG leaders / volunteers across the US and Canada.

    Working on an iterative and evolving fast paced team with outstanding communication and excellent presentation skills is required.

    Must be passionate about and curious about DEI initiatives and a desire to do research on current initiatives, articles, and leading speakers in the field.

    Skilled in building networks and relationships is critical.

    Must desire to be part of a collaborative employee engagement team.

    The Team is PROSCI trained and uses MS Forms

    Must have excellent command of MS Teams, and SharePoint.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities

    DEI BRG Management and Support

    Working closely with the Advisory Board, Division Leads, Committee Leads, Business Administrative Managers and other key stakeholders, support the Forums with strategy development and implementation.

    Guide compliance with the organizational charter.

    Regularly monitor progress of the various DEI programs and events to ensure successful execution.

    Provide program support. Examples include, but are not limited to presentation support, partnership, and event engagement,

    Research and recommend external speakers and experts for BRG DEI program engagement

    Partner with internal stakeholders, funneling contracts and info spec reviews to Legal for Forum events

    Serves as liaison between the BRG and internal stakeholders to ensure high quality programming.

    Prepare and deliver DEI presentations and communications, as appropriate for internal and external audiences.

    Participate in internal and external stakeholder meetings, as required.

    Engage and prepare senior leaders for participation in BRG related events

    Experience

    A minimum of 2-3 years of employee engagement within DEI preferred.
