High Country Behavioral Health is seeking a PRN Mental Health Technician for our Mental Health Residential Facility, Solutions House, in Douglas, WY. The Solutions House is a psychiatric rehabilitation program for adults with serious and persistent mental illness.
PRN Defined: Work minimum of one shift per two week pay period to assist with staffing for coverage of absences for staff planned/unplanned and/or increase in census. The more you are available the more you can work if shifts are available. Shifts are 12 hours and scheduled 7:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m, and range from dayshift to nightshift, including weekends. Must be available to orientation with a mutually agreed upon training schedule and then transition to PRN.
Position Overview
Under the direction of the Group Home Case Manager, the Mental Health Technician will work closely with clients to provide them with the support and care they need on a daily basis. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily care, shopping and transportation, documentation of behaviors and medical intake, and assure the physical safety and wellbeing of supervised clients.
