Security personnel provide vital services to protect attendees, employees, and property during events of all sizes ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Security personnel are responsible for the overall security of the venue, crowd management, surveillance, protection, and emergency response during events.
Position responsibilities : include but are not limited to the following.
Ensures quality of service standards and contract compliances are being adhered to.
Maintains radio contact with dispatch or other event personnel during patrols.
Warns or ejects troublemakers, or unauthorized persons, and cautions careless persons.
Obtains assistance for accident victims and writes accident reports.
Notifies management and staff of the presence of people with questionable reputations.
Performs package searches when applicable.
Must be able to use FM radio and work with minimal supervision.
Investigate irregularities and hazards and forward to appropriate department personnel for corrective actions.
Verbal De-Escalate of confrontations.
Physically remove or detain hostile attendees that violate policy
Observation of crowd dynamics and behavior
Check IDs to ensure that minimum age requirement is met.
Conduct Safety Briefings

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 2 years minimum prior security training or experience in the bar / event industry preferred.
Candidates must be 21 years old and able to obtain alcohol management certification. Must be able to pass a criminal background inquiry.
