Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Facilitate the efficient operation of an administrative department office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Effective organizational and management skills; time management skills

Experience:

• One year work experience in similar job preferred

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Receive current textbook adoptions from state; inventory and bar code for delivery to campuses.
2. Distribute textbooks and all supplementary material to schools.
3. Discard out-of-adoption textbooks.
4. Inventory textbooks.
5. Supervise summer crew that works with textbook deliveries from state.
6. Deliver AV equipment to schools.
7. Pick up AV equipment which needs repair and/or removal from campuses.

• Maintain emotional control under stress

Physical Demands

• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Some bending and standing, when working with textbooks

Environmental Demands

• Normal office environment
