Telecommunications Supervisor jobs in Massachusetts
Telecommunications Supervisor oversees a team of specialists to support the maintenance of an organization's telecommunications system. Coordinates the installation and repairs of telecommunication equipment. Being a Telecommunications Supervisor manages and delegates work orders and assignments. Helps solve and troubleshoot complex issues to mitigate the impact on the performance of the network. Additionally, Telecommunications Supervisor identifies and implements process improvements and leads the implementation of new technologies. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. KMM Telecommunications is looking for a motivated and skilled Tower Technician to join our Team of Telecommunications Professionals. We are looking for an individual that values hard-work and trust, and wants to be part of a Team that values the same. This position would be the 3rd or 4th position on a 3 or 4 person Tower Crew.
Local/Regional candidates only - we do not offer relocation or rotations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum 1-2 years tower construction experience preferred. Green Hands new to the Tower Industry as well as applicants with no construction experience are welcome to apply and will be considered.
- Comtrain or equivalent climbing certification preferred; training will be provided by KMM otherwise.
- Must be flexible to work overtime; weekend and evening work sometimes required.
- Must be flexible to work out of Market when/where required as site locations dictate.
- Must be comfortable climbing and working at heights on towers, rooftops, water towers and other elevated structures.
