Key Responsibilities
- Must provide quality assurance throughout the entire, end-to-end, project lifecycle. Participate in on site walk- throughs and construction turnover milestones related to shell, room, and production readiness.
- Oversee general contractors (GC) and telecom cabling contractor activities, providing directions to address site-specific construction issues.
- Participate in design coordination and construction meetings with the appropriate internal and external resources.
- Work closely with engineering project teams and field personnel to complete and review projects within scope, budget, and schedule. Perform project tasks and assignments within budgeted hours and deadlines. Responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of projects.
- Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope by adhering to standards, processes, and procedures.
- Knowledge of typical construction milestones, durations, and schedule logic related to technology and real estate driven buildouts.
- Incorporate schedules, budgets and project criteria into physical design and layouts.
- Organize and maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related information in a logical and well-structured manner.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA safety requirements.
- Responsible for forecasts, financial objectives and WIP (Work in Progress) reports.
- Cultivate and maintain customer relationships to secure and expand business opportunities and Coordinates with corporate human resources, information technology and administration as needed to accomplish business objectives and meet legal and compliance requirements.
- Oversees hiring and succession planning for the project. Assesses direct and indirect hiring requirements per budget and works with corporate recruiter/staffing partners to fill open positions with qualified candidates.
- Ensures that training and development needs are met while aiding and supporting, as needed.
- Provides coaching, development, and guidance to direct reports and/or team members, encouraging and guiding them to remain current with emerging technologies.
- Working knowledge of Auto Cad, Revit, and other design programs to create, edit, and update drawings to reflect project changes and as-build drawings.
- Communicate structured cabling standards to partners and stakeholders.
- Participate in project-related interviews and discovery, design coordination, and construction meetings with other technology design team members (internal and external resources). Translate business requirements into functional technical requirements.

- Conducts meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of changes in programs, policies, and procedures.
- Interfaces with general contractors, mechanical/electrical/plumbing engineers, architectural firms, telecommunication sub-contractors, and AV/security integrators throughout the design and build process.
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Knowledge
- A minimum of five years; experience managing integrated structured cabling projects.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, related field and or technical training.
- Drives to continue to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the product.
- Strong background in IT service delivery role for multi-vendor cabling, connecting hardware, cabinet, rack, power strip solutions. (i.e., engineering support for projects)
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi, audio visual and security infrastructure cabling systems.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook.
- Willingness to travel - estimated at 10%.

- Participated in implementation of major IT projects.
- Client interfacing skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of management. Candidate should have experience operating with colleagues across different time zones with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Working knowledge in telecommunications, cable/conduit routing, equipment rack layouts, floor plans and networking projects is strongly preferred.
- Experience utilizing project management software, work sets and project phasing.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven work environment.
- Ability to thrive in a multi discipline team setting.
- RCDD desirable.
