Telecommunications Engineering Technician assists telecommunication engineers in the design and analysis of telecommunication networks. Creates plans and drawings detailing the layout of routers, circuits, cables, switches, or other telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Engineering Technician ensures network connectivity for end-users. May evaluate existing networks and recommend design changes to improve performance. Additionally, Telecommunications Engineering Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Telecommunications Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. General Summary
Supervises all plant facility construction projects, including improvement and maintenance of plant facilities. Supervises Construction Technicians, OSP Clerks and Field Engineers.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience plus seven to ten years experience preforming the above job functions.
Reporting Requirements
Reports to WRT Headquarters in Hazen, ND and must reside within WRT service area.
