The IT Service Desk Manager ensures team members are trained and coached on effective methods to research, troubleshoot, deliver solutions, and access the current product or technical updates. Manages the staff and operations of an organization's technical help desk. Being an IT Service Desk Manager identifies and gathers key metrics to analyze the help desk performance and identify problem areas. Trains the team on the help desk systems and tools to identify, document, track, and resolve reported problems. In addition, IT Service Desk Manager monitors and measures service metrics and volume to develop standards, improvements, or changes to workflows and resource allocation. Acts as an escalation point and facilitator for severe, critical, or unique issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The IT Service Desk Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as an IT Service Desk Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service/Technical Support & NFA Clerk. Under minimal supervision, will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and assisting them with their inquiries and needs. Answering phones, emails, tech support, processing client orders, and processing NFA forms. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for firearms and customer service to thrive in a dynamic environment.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Provides general customer service via phone, email, and in person

    · Provides tech support to customers as well as end users

    · Sales and data entry

    · Maintains, organizes, and updates customer required licenses

    · Provides QA and packaging of accessories

    · Process NFA applications and ATF Forms: filing, reviewing, and finalizing in a timely manner

    · Provides assistance and back up support to office staff when needed

    · Other duties as assigned by supervisor


    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    · Conceptual skills

    · Strong verbal and written communication skills

    · Strong attention to detail

    · Strong prioritization and organizational skills

    · Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with people at all levels of the 

     organization

    · Responsive, action-oriented, driven, self-starter, and a team player

    · Proficient in the use of computers

    · Firearms industry experience, interest, and knowledge strongly preferred


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    · Ability to occasionally lift approximately 40 lbs

    · Regularly reaches, sits, stands and/or walks for up to 8 hours
