- About the Role ZT Systems is seeking a Sr. Certifications Support Engineer to support the development of ZT products and assure current product compliance to international, federal, state and local regulations. Reporting to the compliance and certifications manager, the Sr. Certifications Support Engineer will provide technical support to the certifications team and prepare complex systems for national and international compliance testing including, but not limited to safety, EMC, energy efficiency and environmental compliance. What You'll Do • Validate and prepare servers and all support equipment required for testing both domestically and internationally. • Load industry standard and customer specific system stress tools. • Windows & Linux experience to help and assist external 3rd party labs to load scripts and run stress tools, pull logs and work with them to debug basic issues. • Troubleshoot issues encountered related to hardware and software and work with the systems engineer to resolve them. • Communicate effectively and create detailed documentation and instructions describing processes and steps to load and run tools and load and run logs when needed. • Prepare samples for SERT (Server Energy Efficiency Rating Tool) testing and run tests using industry test processes and procedures. • Working with internal materials team to ship systems and equipment to 3rd party labs. • Keep the lab, work area clean and organized. • Keep track of the calibration certificates of the equipment and make sure the equipment is up to date. • Materials and asset management. What You bring: Bachelor's degree in related field required, or advanced degree with equivalent work experience 2 years of relevant experience in computer industry Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously. Knowledge of basic computer hardware architecture and critical components. Assemble/disassemble/troubleshoot servers at components level. Linux experience- CentOS7, 8 Stream, 9 Stream, Previous/latest Ubuntu Distro Windows experience- Windows 10/11 operation/deployment. Windows Server Data Center 2016~2022 operation/deployment.
