Supply Chain Director directs overall supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods. Develops and implements a strategy to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Being a Supply Chain Director negotiates with vendors to obtain optimal contracts and pricing. Utilizes data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance and trends and forecast inventory and distribution requirements. Additionally, Supply Chain Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Supply Chain Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Supply Chain Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Position Summary

    Reporting to the Manager, SCM Data Analytics & Governance, the Senior Analyst in Supply Chain Management will play a key role in supporting procurement and process improvement initiatives within a commercial aviation supply chain. This position requires the ability to document business processes and develop models that accurately evaluate the current state, forming a baseline for continuous improvement opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform a wide range of analytics to support continuous improvement in supply chain operations and drive transformational change.
    • Identify, implement, and manage key metrics to improve supply chain operational performance, vendor performance, and financial results.
    • Drive user interaction, data analysis, process modeling, and physical observations to uncover inefficiencies in the Supply Chain.
    • Support the Supply Chain Management Team in analyzing complex deals with suppliers, provide quantitative research and analysis to identify business opportunities that enhance supply chain performance and value.
    • Develop financial, productivity, and optimization models for the Supply Chain Management team.
    • Be recognized as a subject matter expert in visual reporting and process exception based alerting.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree - Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Business, Management Science, or related analytical field; or an equivalent combination of education and related working experience.
    • Minimum 4 years of supply chain management experience.
    • Experience with geographically dispersed material management supporting transportation fleets or production facilities desired.
    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Visio or equivalent tools.
    • Advanced to expert proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, or other data management tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to answer complex questions using data.
    • Strong knowledge in analysis and forecast modeling.
    • Strong business acumen or financial management exposure.
    • Ability to learn new concepts, methods, and systems quickly.
    • Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on interpretation from multiple data sources.
    • Ability to work on highly diverse, distributed teams.
    • Self-starter with the ability to identify analytical opportunities to drive change without constant direction from leadership.

    Please note that the provided salary information serves as a general guideline. Our salary is determined by a candidate's experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. The expected pay range is $78,000 - $111,000.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience developing and managing large datasets.
    • Ability to perform statistical analysis (working knowledge of probabilities and risk modeling).
    • Experience with process modeling techniques and documenting process workflows.
    • Demonstrated experience with TRAX or similar Maintenance and Materials Requirements Planning system.
