Supply Chain Analyst jobs in Minnesota
Supply Chain Analyst monitors and expedites the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Coordinates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Being a Supply Chain Analyst identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions. Works with suppliers to resolve issues. Additionally, Supply Chain Analyst may assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Supply Chain Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. What You’ll Do- Lead the development of ongoing reports, analyses and dashboards to guide important decisions and process improvements within Mid Term Planning team.
- Work with the Supply Chain teams in areas including network/topology planning and design, capacity planning, inventory placement, transportation planning, delivery experience for improved customer experience.
- Provide Senior Leadership with updates on Mid-Term Planning metrics, including ongoing analysis and interpretation of data.
- Improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary data sets.
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
- Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
- Respond to high priority requests from senior business leaders.
- Present information verbally, as well as in written reports.
- BS/BA in Supply Chain, Information Management, Data Science or related field.
- 5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Analytics.
- Experience dealing with results and data with a desire to create new processes.
- Tableau, Excel, and SQL expertise.
- Knowledge of data warehousing.
- Look at solutions and see opportunities and can lead the way.
- Convey important insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms.
