Statistician jobs in Tennessee

Beacon Hill is seeking a statistician for an insurance client. Responsibilities include:

- Implementing assigned projects requiring the application of mathematical statistical theory.

- Develop, communicate, and present written statistical reports and presents data findings.

- Use statistical analysis software to assist with researching, implementing, or evaluating statistical methods

- Design and develop a variety of statistical models (such as linear, claims reserving, and predictive) to aid in the discovery and tracking of market trends and risk prediction within TFMI's insurance verticals.

- Conduct data analysis and create digestible representations of findings for end users and business partners.

- Assist with the automation and process improvement of the underwriting process, resulting in increased efficiency and accuracy for risk assessments and policy issuance.

- Collaborate with Business stakeholders and all internal teams as required.

Required Skills

1. 3 years of professional experience within applied statistics.
2. Experience developing statistical models including linear, claims reserving, and predictive.
3. Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, or other comparable education.

Desired Skills

- Experience with statistical softwares such as SAS, SPSS, R, and Python
