TITLE: Technical Writer

POSITION: Contract, 12mos

LOCATION: Hybrid in Rapid City, SD

AUTHORIZATION: W-2 or C2C

RATE: $20-22ph W2 Benefits / $24ph C2C or Self Corp

Overview:

Join our dynamic team specializing in 3D environments and CGI, where creativity meets innovation.

As a Technical Writer, you'll dive into a diverse range of tasks, from crafting captivating part images to producing immersive 360-degree spin sets and marketing-related content. Your role will involve seamlessly integrating our machines into any environment, providing invaluable insight through exploded views of dealer-level service parts, and even delving into the world of animations. With access to our onsite render farm, you'll create content for low-resolution images to high-definition masterpieces.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop and design manuals, brochures, and catalogues with precision and creativity.
• Produce instruction manuals that not only inform but engage and inspire.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and visually stunning content.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, leveraging tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to bring ideas to life.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Technical Writing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your versatility and creativity.
• A minimum of a 2-year degree in a related field, demonstrating your commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration and clear articulation of ideas.
• Ability to hit the ground running, adapting quickly to new challenges and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Top 3 Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in technical writing, demonstrating your ability to distill complex information into clear and concise content.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, showcasing your expertise in leveraging multimedia tools to achieve impactful results.
• Exceptional communication skills, fostering productive interactions and driving successful outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Disqualifiers:

• High school diploma with no 2 or 4 year degree (require a minimum of a 2-year degree for this position)
