The spa is a woman owned business focused on high quality massage therapy services that are offered in a warm and inclusive environment. We are looking for an office manager who is a natural leader with extraordinary communication skills, who loves to collaborate and engage with staff and customers alike. The successful candidate will be an anchor point of the salon and be extremely organized. They will manage the facility, coordinate the operations, and be a financial and HR partner for the business.

As the owner I am looking for someone I can depend on to handle the day-to-day operations and keep the business running smoothly and positioned for growth.

Office Manager Job Description:

Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.

Learns the strengths of each therapist and how to appropriately refer clients based on their needs.

Have management and/or sales experience, preferably in a customer service environment such as a spa, salon, or gym.

Basic math and cash handling experience, phone, and computer skills is required.

A motivated leader who can build relationships while inspiring, motivating, coaching, and supporting our team.

Can create a strong workplace culture where all employees feel valued and recognized, issues are resolved quickly and fairly, and everyone feels connected to the mission.

Must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and communicate progress and concerns effectively.

Responsible for billing and following up on collections and reporting of insurance accounts.

Assist with marketing aspects such as promoting memberships, retail sales, promotional events and social media posts as needed and overseeing community involvement and charity drives.

Manage all operational aspects such managing deposits, managing inventory, coordinating payroll, and ensuring compliance with all laws, etc.

Effectively resolve customer challenges while delivering legendary customer service

Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment.

Assist with all staffing requirements (job posting, onboarding, training, interviewing, hiring, performance evaluation, planning and scheduling staff meetings, conflict resolution and managing associated records).

Establish and monitor front desk and therapist work.

Availability to maintain a full-time schedule and be flexible when necessary to open and/or close the spa location, including evenings, weekends, and some (minor) holidays.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
