SLOT TECHNICIAN maintains slot machines, replaces parts, and cleans machines as needed. Removes machines from gaming floor with the aid of a hand truck as needed. Being a SLOT TECHNICIAN may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The SLOT TECHNICIAN may require 0-1 year of general work experience. The slot technician performs repairs to the Electronic Gaming Devices, including the Slot Monitoring System.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs slot machine installations, relocations, and conversions
- Performs routine maintenance and upgrades to electronic gaming devices
- Attends departmental and company meetings as required

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience related to nature of position
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written and / or oral instructions
- Ability to communicate with internal and / or external guests
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as : addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions, and apply to practical situations using fractions, percentages, measurements, proportions, and problem solving
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English
- Must be able to lift and push more than 50 lbs. and carry up to 30 lbs
