Slot Shift Manager Assistant assists the manager with gaming activities in the slot department during an assigned shift. Approves jackpot and credit payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed. Being a Slot Shift Manager Assistant confirms all slot equipment is functioning properly. Supervises all electronic gaming device personnel. Additionally, Slot Shift Manager Assistant ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. May require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Promote and maintain all steps of the ACES Customer Service program with each patron and employee you may come in contact with.
Uses exceptional interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service to external and internal guests.
Maintains a high level of productivity.
Communicates openly with others to aid in the smooth operation of the gaming facility.
Pays close attention to detail by accurately completing paperwork and ensures the volume of work produced in the relation to reasonable expectations.
Must have basic computer skills. This position uses the computer for ACSC functions.

Minimum age of 21.
High School Diploma or equivalent
One plus year of relevant customer service experience required. Exceptional customer service skills required.
Must be able to communicate effectively and in a friendly manner with customers and employees at all levels. Strong organizational and problem solving skills required.
Ability to communicate with a variety of people in the gaming facility and other industries on behalf of the players.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret routine business documents.
Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
Must be very detailed oriented.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Must qualify for the Maine Gambling Control Board license.
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
