Six Sigma Quality Program Director jobs in Alabama
Six Sigma Quality Program Director plans, designs, and directs Six Sigma projects. Develops strategy and policies required to accomplish measurable business process improvements. Being a Six Sigma Quality Program Director employs Six Sigma/Lean methodology and analytics to re-engineer organizational operations. Works with other certified professionals in the planning, designing, and implementation of key projects. Additionally, Six Sigma Quality Program Director coaches and trains teams in the utilization and deployment of Six Sigma tools and principles. Requires Six Sigma certification as Black Belt. May require a master's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Six Sigma Quality Program Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Six Sigma Quality Program Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. About The Opportunity:
In this role you will be Responsible for planning and implementing the performance improvement program to meet the needs of the hospital. Provides education to medical staff, hospital staff, and Governing Body. Facilitates performance improvement activities, and CQI activities throughout the hospital. Acts as resource person to administrative team, department manager's, and medical staff. Performs clinical risk management functions. Assists department managers with preparation for medical staff committees. Oversight responsibility for all regulatory body surveys, such as, JCAHO, State Licensing Review, HCFA (CMS) Validation surveys. Maintains oversight responsibility for all performance improvement activities conducted throughout the hospital.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Licenses/Certificates:
Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.
Experience:
