As a Shipping Coordinator, you would be responsible for routing outgoing shipments through various means of transportation, following standard procedures, and prioritizing workload and expedites. Additional duties include measuring and weighing product and converting from English to metric if needed, and completing necessary bills of lading, packing slips, ASN's (Advanced Ship Notices) and shipping alert notifications. The Shipping Coordinator also maintains and stores/files shipping documents.- High School Diploma
- 3 to 5 years work experience in shipping setting
- Forklift license preferred.
- Ability to read a packing slip, pick list, and training material for certification on forklift.
- Commitment to quality work
- Proven track record of excellent attendance and work ethic
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel/ Outlook and exposure to inventory software.
