Title: Shipping/Receiving Supervisor
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Status: Full Time / Salaried Exempt (45-50 hours/week; additional hours as needed to support company and individual goals)

- Motor coordination, manual and finger dexterity
- Industrial Truck License
- Customer Service/Telephone etiquette

- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Job Summary
Responsible for the day-to-day shipping, inventory, and organization of the warehouse.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain the shipping & receiving area to be cleaned & organized, and with warehouse floor organization as necessary.
- Scan and load any material needing to be transferred to the manufacturing facility onto transfer trucks.
- Obtain any finished goods from the warehouse to fill orders for prompt shipment based on customer releases and ship products per customer specifications.
- Pull all necessary customer orders via shipment pick lists for shipments.
- Unload and put away all incoming transfers.
- Move or store products in the appropriate designated areas and preserve the quality of received and stored products.
- Receive product into the warehouse, verify that the product received matches the receiving paperwork and is visually undamaged and acceptable for use. Report incidents of improperly packaged material delivered to Logistics Manager and/or Purchasing Manager.
- Make sure outgoing products are loaded on trucks in a manner as to protect the components throughout the trip.
- May be required to manually handle, repack or restack pallets of received materials or finished product.
- Coordinate and assist with inventory counts to maintain accurate Packaging, RAW and FG inventories.
- Utilize and maintain customer specific websites/portals per customer requirements.
- Submit ASNs for shipments and follow them through to ensure there are no errors; troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Complete weekly physical tote inventory and send to suppliers.
- Email shipment paperwork and tracking information to customers as needed.
- Schedule shipments with carriers via phone and/or e-mail.
- Shipping over the border (UPS, FedEx) – create export paperwork for over the border shipments.
- General housekeeping duties.
- Follow IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures as indicated in the employee manual, and also properly use all shipping/receiving specific safety equipment.
